About this notice
This privacy notice explains what personal information we collect in connection with recruitment and professional opportunities, why we collect it, how we use it, how long we retain it and the rights you have over it. It applies to information obtained from public sources, such as LinkedIn, as well as CVs, portfolios and applications you send to us.
By sharing personal information with us, you confirm that you have read and understood this notice. “HUMANRENDER”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to HUMAN RENDER SL, the controller responsible for the processing described here.
Questions about this notice or the way we handle information can be sent to administracion@humanrender.com.
Information we collect
We collect information that you choose to share when you contact or interact with us through our website, email, telephone, social platforms or other channels. We may also collect relevant professional information from publicly available sources.
This may include your name, postal or email address, telephone number, career history, CV, portfolio, professional profiles, availability and any other personally identifiable information included in your communications. We may request additional information where it is reasonably necessary for a recruitment process or before making an offer.
You may choose not to provide certain information or ask us to remove information already shared. This may limit our ability to assess or progress an application.
How we use it
We may use your personal information to:
- communicate with you and respond to enquiries;
- assess your suitability for a role, project or professional collaboration;
- manage, support and provide updates about an application;
- facilitate interviews, offers and onboarding;
- tell you about relevant future opportunities where you have asked us to do so; and
- inform you of material changes to policies or conditions that affect your application.
The principal legal basis for recruitment processing is our legitimate interest in assessing candidates and managing applications. Where applicable, processing may also be based on your consent, steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, or compliance with legal obligations.
Sharing and international transfers
We may share information with service providers that support recruitment, communications, document storage and business administration. They may only access the information required to provide those services and must handle it confidentially and in accordance with applicable data protection law.
Our recruitment workflow may use our email inbox and, where applicable, third-party management tools such as Gmail or Airtable. Their services are governed by their own privacy and data protection terms. You can review Airtable’s GDPR information here.
If information is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we will use a lawful transfer mechanism and appropriate safeguards, such as an adequacy decision or Standard Contractual Clauses where required.
Future opportunities
If you ask us to keep you informed, we may contact you about other roles, projects or freelance opportunities by email, telephone, social platforms or another channel you have agreed to use. You can change your preference or ask us to stop at any time by writing to administracion@humanrender.com.
How long we keep information
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and to meet legal, analytical and administrative requirements.
If we do not employ you, we may retain recruitment information for up to two years so that we can manage legal obligations and consider you for potential future roles. We may retain it for longer if you have asked to be considered for freelance work or another ongoing opportunity. After that period, we may retain only the minimum information necessary to record previous recruitment activity.
If your application is successful, relevant information will be retained under the privacy rules applicable to employees, workers and contractors, which will be made available when you join us.
Accuracy and security
If information you have provided changes, you can ask us to update, correct or remove it by writing to administracion@humanrender.com.
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information and review those measures regularly. They include physical and digital security controls and access restrictions. Although no system can guarantee absolute security, we take reasonable steps to protect the information entrusted to us.
Your rights
Subject to the conditions established by applicable law, you may ask us to:
- confirm whether we process your personal information and give you access to it;
- correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
- erase your information or restrict its use;
- object to processing based on legitimate interests;
- provide information you supplied in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format where the right to portability applies; and
